Allison started teaching in the Austin Texas area in 2009 and has run successful music studios in Austin, Pflugerville, Round Rock, Georgetown and now in the hill country of Lago Vista where she has been located on Dawn dr. since 2017.

Allison's entire family is musical. Both parents were music teachers and her little sister also studied music in college. Allison began formal violin lessons at the age of 6 when I was enrolled into private Suzuki violin lessons. She participated in school orchestras from kindergarten to college and community and professional ensembles on the side. After high school she attended Northern Arizona University on a full ride orchestral performance scholarship and studied music education and violin performance. She received her Bachelor of Music in instrumental performance degree in 2009.

A big focus along side the violin performance degree was obtaining a Suzuki teacher certification and training. Allison was trained and mentored by Dr. Louise Scott through NAU's longer term teacher training program for Suzuki violin books 1-4+. Other short term Suzuki trainers include Kim Sullivan, Susan Kempter, Bill Dick, and Shelly Rich.

In the past twenty years Allison has played in a number of professional orchestral programs earning the position of Concertmaster (first chair violinist) in the Northern Arizona University Symphony and chamber orchestras, Tucson Foothills Philharmonic, Canyon Del Oro Symphonic Orchestras, and in numerous summer institutes across the United States. She has also played as a section violinist for the Flagstaff Arizona Symphony Orchestra, Northern Arizona University Chamber Groups and Orchestra, Tucson Philharmonic, and locally with the Round Rock Symphony Orchestra, Central Texas Philharmonic, Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra, Temple Symphony Orchestra, and Austin Opera. Allison was the featured soloist for the Twilight Concert Series in January of 2022 and again in the Serenade for strings Twilight concert February 2023.
